FAWM 2025




I am so excited everyone.

FAWM (February Album Writing Month) is one of my favorite song-writing events on the year. I know its a little early, but that's just how excited I am about it happening, also many of my local musician friends are already pre-ping for it, so I may actually be a bit behind.



If you are not familiar with what it is, every February musicians and songwriters from all over the globe participate in this fun creative project.



The idea is to write 14 new pieces in the 28 days of February. These could be lyrics, could be musical pieces, could be full on songs. Its super cool.



Its free to create an account and participate at fawm.org.
You can collaborate with other artists on the platform, and get to hear what everyone is making. It is a Muse Magnet! and everyone is just so loving and supportive of each other. 


It has been a while since I fully participated, and I'm super excited to say that I intend to fully participate this coming year, to create 14 new songs, and I will be posting about my process here via some public and some exclusive posts.


If you didn't know I now have a subscription option on both Bandcamp & Buy Me A Coffee. The both accept audio,  which means I will also make sure to post the songs, and the demos up on both for my subscribers, the Mosnonauts! 


I only have one tier $3, and that gives you access to everything, exclusive posts, early releases, and the demos that will be coming out of FAWM and other musical / audio ventures.


Super excited, and if you are a musician, singer-songwriter, truly considering trying FAWM, it doesn't matter what level you are, its just a big creative hub to get some awesome muses going.

I love it when I learn new words, my new favorite one is Selenophilia . You have no idea how excited I was to learn that this word existed! It basically means "A Love of the moon", which would make me a Selenophile "(n) a person who loves the moon". How freakin cool is that!!? Songs of Selenophilia : Intro / Outro songs

The past few days Maurice Carroll  and I have been in the studio polishing up some of the tunes for my upcoming moon themed EP "Songs of Selenophilia". I am so excited you guys and gals, to me it feels like a mini Novella album with all the things we are doing. Today I'm going to talk about two songs, he song that starts the album "Sahara Moon", and the song that ends the album "Shortwave To The Moon". They are both similar yet different at the same time, and they both do their jobs beautifully. The intro song "Sahara Moon". I wanted this song to basically ease the listener into the album, to create a calm atmosphere and let them know they are about to go on a musical journey of some sorts. It generally starts with the sound of Desert Winds, and very gentle guitar and vocals, then slowly we introduce a little bit of trombone and piano, then BAM, beats galore to get you grooving in your seat.
