Thank You, I Love You.

Hello my lovely fellow Moon lovers,
I wanted to thank you all so much for your patience with me through this whole process.
But I come barring good news, the album is almost ready for you. I'm finishing up the graphics of the album with the new name, because as you may or may not have heard, apparently the name "Lunaverse" is trademarked, so I was not able to use it as my album name.
The new name is "Selenophilia : Moon Songs".

I am working my hardest to get it released THIS year, hopefully in late spring early summer.
BUT I will not have you all wait any longer to hear it.
So I have created snippets of the album for your listening pleasure, that way you know what to expect.

Thank you all again SO much for your love and support through out this journey.
I love you all dearly.
Enjoy.

Bandcamp \\ vs // Patreon

As you may have heard, Bandcamp has recently launched a "Subscription" service for their artist and their supporters. The main idea is for fans/supports of an artist, would "Subscribe" to him/her. By doing so the supporter would pay a monthly charge to the artist through Bandcamp, and in return they get 1st dibs on new songs, and even exclusive material. The new music is automatically ready for streaming on your Bandcamp App, and you would even have the option to download it if you like. There is even an option to give Subscribers a discount on other merch, and you can of course make your whole back catalog available as well. Patreon has been doing a similar thing for a while now, but with Patreon its open for more than just music. Its for "Artists" in general. And I have to say, I do tend to find more Webcomic and Digital Artists using Patreon. I also see a lot of Video content creators on there as well, and some "Audio" artist. I'm sur

Selenophilia

I love it when I learn new words, my new favorite one is Selenophilia . You have no idea how excited I was to learn that this word existed! It basically means "A Love of the moon", which would make me a Selenophile "(n) a person who loves the moon". How freakin cool is that!!? Photo by: Johanna Grace / Edited by: Gela Ghaderi I have always had a healthy obsession with the moon, I never knew why, and I never questioned it. I've just always found comfort in sitting or standing, and stare at the moon. It always clams me down. In my desert culture, the Moon is used as a symbol of beauty many times, and as you may ha ve heard in many of my songs, I use the moon quite often in my writing. The cool thing is, I learned about this word, just as I had finished writing a new song called " Sahara Moon" , of course. So this new exciting discovery lead me down a moonlight rabbit hole, and now I'm working on a 5 song EP of love songs that are moon the

Are you singing a song, or telling a story?

As a songwriter, I tend to listen to songs differently, and I noticed something. In almost any genre, the best songs, are the ones that have a theme, or a message. They tend to describe either a place, a person, or a situation, and ease you into the world form which the song is coming from. Story telling is an ancient talent for us humans, I would find it difficult to find a culture which doesn't have stories. Some cultures may even have different renditions of the same story or myth. In the past few years I learned something interesting about song writing, I learned that with practice, I can control it, and this goes for any creative talent. I also learned that I can focus my songwriting to particular ideas. In the past, I would only write when the “muse” was kind enough to smile upon me, but now I learned that I can actually summon up the muse when, or if, I need it. Believe it or not, research helps me. If I want to write about a particular topic, I would actually rese
